The Worshipful Company of Security Professionals seeks to create and nurture a culture that secures the principles which protect people, property and liberty.

In the UK there are over 300,000 people in security related employment with a number of organisations and associations representing them. The Worshipful Company of Security Professionals seeks to complement all the excellent work that is being done by being the umbrella charitable arm of the profession. We are working hard to demonstrate to opinion formers in the City of London and the country at large the caring side of our profession and generally raising its profile.

The Company was formed as a City of London Guild in 1999 and progressed quickly to become a City of London Company in 2004. This gives our profession, which is modern and often at the leading edge of innovation and technology, a link with 900 years of City Livery Company traditions.

We support many and varied charities and are now beginning to fund a range of charitable and educational projects which will also benefit the security profession.
